Appointments

Do I need an appointment to tour Cielo?
In order for Cielo to give you the personal attention we like to extend to all of our guests, appointments are required.

 

Celebration Assistance

Does Cielo assist in coordination of our wedding/celebration?
We will be there to help manage vendors and assist with building and beverage arrangements. If you feel you need more assistance, we do suggest that you consider a coordinator/party planner for all other detailed planning assistance which can be a professional, friend, business associate, or member of the family. Many times your musical/entertainment vendors will help in scheduling announcements. Cielo will be asking for a "go to" person to answer any questions that may arise during the event.

Does Cielo have event packages?
We believe you are better able to budget your funds and allocate them to where they most matter to you, so we do not offer packages. We do not require that you use only our suggested vendors because they may not be right for you. The only exception is our Exclusive Caterers. We ask you to use these chosen Caterers because we have carefully screened them to insure your food and service meets your high expectations for your special event. They all have a wide variety of pricing to fit every budget.

Do I have to use Cielo’s Caterers?
Yes, Cielo believes good food and good service is extremely important in making your event the best it can be. Cielo has taken the time to screen each one of our preferred Caterers and feel confident that you will be able to find the price range and selection you desire for your special event. Outside Caterers are welcome, but we do require an additional fee, as they are not under agreement with Cielo.

Alcohol

Can we bring in our own liquor?
We do have our liquor license; therefore no liquor can be brought in. According to the law, we must receive all liquor served through a licensed distributor. Cielo is at risk of losing their license if any liquor is brought in without our knowledge and the client is at risk of losing their deposit as well. Cielo does have a great variety of price ranges and selections to choose from. Please feel free to ask us if you have special requests or needs and we will do our best to make them possible.

Sounds System/Music Entertainment

Do I need a DJ?  
D.J./bands not only provide great music for your guests, they coordinate with you on the type of music you prefer. They often take requests and keep your event on schedule with the appropriate announcements. Also, some interact with your guests to make the event more enjoyable for everyone.  

Can we use your sound system for our event?
While our sound system is great for speeches and background music, it does not provide deep, live, dancing music. We highly recommend getting a professional DJ or band with their own high performance sound equipment to insure quality entertainment. We do provide microphones at no additional cost.
 

Can we use an Ipod/MP3 player for our event?
You can, but we do not advice relying on an Ipod/MP3 player for your special occasion. Our sounds system is only designed for speaking and background music. If you decide to use an Ipod/MP3 player, we ask that you please designate someone to control the music for smooth transitions.

 

Room Set Up

Who will be responsible for room furniture set up?
Room set up will be done by Cielo staff and your designated caterer. Any special set up will be considered upon request.

 

Pictures

Can I take pictures anywhere on Cielo's grounds?
For everyone's safety, Cielo requires pictures to be taken on designated walks and seating areas.

Can I bring my photographer to see the site before the wedding/celebration?
Yes, but please make an appointment with Cielo's staff beforehand. If the photographer has shot at Cielo previously, we find separate appointments are not necessary.

 

Decor

Can I use candles?
All interior candles must enclosed in glass for fire safety reasons. Only flameless candles can be used outside. Unity candles may be used for ceremonies only. Please ask for a copy of our General Rules for other permitted decor.

Are linens, chair covers, plates, and silverware provided by Cielo?
Linens, chair covers, and place settings can be provided by your caterer, or rented directly by you. We do have suggested providers on our vendors list, but you may use whomever you wish.

 

Valet Parking

Can Cielo provide valet parking?
We have suggested valet companies on our Vendors list for you to contact directly if you feel you need valet for your event. With our convenient 136 parking spots right in front of the facility, you may find that valet is not necessary for your event.

 

Coat Check

Can Cielo provide coat check?
Cielo can arrange for a coat check but it is not required. Cielo is not responsible for self checked garments
.

 

Rehearsals

When will we have our wedding rehearsal?
We try and schedule the rehearsal the day before your wedding unless you prefer a different date. Possible times will be coordinated with you 60 days prior. If we have an event that day, please know that we will work with you and do our best to secure a mutually agreeable time.

Can we have food or beverages in the Bride and Groom/Event Suites while we are getting ready?
Cielo is happy to provide beverages in the suites. Either your coordinator or Cielo staff can arrange for food plates; please make prior arrangements with Cielo's staff. Also, please feel free to bring personal snacks, should you prefer.

 

Hotels

Does Cielo have preferred hotels?
We do not have a preference as to which hotels you choose to use, but our website does list hotels we have negotiated preferred rates with when you are booked with Cielo.
